I Am Coming Back

Hey everyone!  I have not died, quit podcasting, or quit woodworking!  I am coming back real soon.  I just hit a season of life that crushed the free time I had to podcast.  It is nothing serious.  I have experienced a series of first world problems that have impacted my time to get behind the microphone.
You will hear from me real soon. Thanks for all the positive comments and encouragement these past few months!

  1. Praise the Lord! I had just found your podcast at the beginning of summer, and then… Poof! It was gone! Hope al is well, and can’t wait for a new episode to listen to while out in the shop!

  2. I just found your Podcast, and thought you may be interested in what I’m working on. I too found there to be a lack of information about starting a small woodworking business, and I’m going to create something myself to fill the need. My first step is of course to start building a business and a brand, then I’ll create a companion blog and YouTube channel (perhaps a podcast too) about HOW I did it. I’m not going to wait too long to launch the companion series, but I do need to build a little authority first.

We’re building a brand around the name Looking Glass Lodge, and you can find our Etsy store by searching for LookingGlassLodge on that site. We haven’t launched a website for it yet, but that’s coming soon. You see, I’m one of those guys who is starting to hate his regular job even though I’m good at it and I make a lot of money. Woodworking is what keeps me from driving off a cliff. What I DON’T want to do is make my woodworking business become the burden of just another job, so I’m keeping it simple and concentrating on building things I want to build. I also have some authority in entrepreneurship having been successfully self employed my whole working life. I have also mentored dozens of other business owners to start and run their own businesses. I’ve had some great advice, and I’ve made some terrible mistakes over the years.

Anyway, I just thought I’d reach out to you and make contact so that hopefully someday in the next year or two I’ll have great resources available to help hobby woodworkers make a few bucks selling their wares.

  3. Thank you for all the podcasts you have done, I’m glad to hear a church going family man as your self doing a podcast about woodworking. If there is anything I can do to encourage you along please ask.

  4. Leh,

Missing your awesome podcast! Hope you’re still on track to return at some point in the future.

I think I can recite all your podcasts verbatim I’ve listened to them so many times. πŸ™‚

    Hope all is well!
